    In this folk song, K-5th grade students will learn the song and add a dance to go along with it.

  • Four-White-Horses

    In this song, students will learn to sing the melody, follow the melodic direction with their hands, what syncopation is, learn about music from the Caribbean, and play a hand game with partners.

    "I Wish" is a speech piece (or poem) that students will add drums to. They will play the steady beat, rhythm, and ostinatos together as a class or in parts.

    "Summer" is a body percussion activity to use as a warm up or as a music lesson. It teaches rhythm, steady beat, and how to speak 2 parts at the same time.
