    "Five Little Seeds" is a speech piece activity for lower elementary students. In this activity, students will explore steady beat, rhythm, and movement.

  • The Animal Fair

    In this folk song, K-5th grade students will learn the song "The Animal Fair" and add a dance to go along with it.

  • Four White Horses

    Students will learn to sing the melody, follow the melodic direction with their hands, what syncopation is, learn about music from the Caribbean, and play a hand game with partners.

  • I Wish

    "I Wish" is a speech piece (or poem) that students will add drums to. They will play the steady beat, rhythm, and ostinatos together as a class or in parts.

    "Kookaburra" is a round from Australia. Kids will learn the song, add movement, then learn to sing it in a round.
